Esko has underlined its commitment to safeguarding customer data and protecting it against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other potential security risks, achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification for its integrated software solutions. The certification assures Esko customers that their sensitive information, intellectual property, and other critical assets are secure and well-protected, assessing the organizations’ security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls against stringent criteria set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The successful accreditation was completed less than a year after the company also successfully achieved the international standard on information security management, ISO 27001, following a perfect 100% assessment of its policies and procedures.


Joël Depernet, chief technology officer with the global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions for the packaging and labels markets, explained that the SOC2 Type 2 certification involves a rigorous evaluation, conducted by an independent auditor, in which the design and effectiveness of an organization’s security controls and processes are assessed.
